Sewickley Classic Festival
A Morning for the Whole Community
The Sewickley Classic 5K is more than a race — it’s a community festival designed to bring Sewickley together for a morning of fitness, family fun, and celebration.
Held in War Memorial Park alongside the race, the festival transforms race morning into a true community gathering — welcoming runners, walkers, families, neighbors, and spectators alike.
Whether you’re racing, cheering, or just coming to enjoy the atmosphere, the Sewickley Classic Community Festival is designed so everyone feels part of the day.
Built Around Families
From the very beginning, the Sewickley Classic was created to be more than a runner-only event.
By pairing the 5K with youth races, kids activities, food, and live music, the festival creates a shared experience that extends beyond the finish line — making race day something families can enjoy together.
This is what turns a race into a tradition.
Kids Dashes
One of the highlights of the Sewickley Classic Community Festival is our Kids Dashes — short, fun races designed just for our youngest runners.
The Kids Dashes give children the chance to experience the excitement of race day in a positive, encouraging environment — crossing a finish line, earning a bib, and being part of the celebration.
For many kids, this will be their first race experience — and we want it to be unforgettable.
The Kids Dashes reflect the spirit of the entire event: active, welcoming, and centered on community.
More to Come
The Sewickley Classic Community Festival will continue to grow as race weekend approaches.
Live music, food trucks, vendors, and family activities will be announced in the coming months — building toward a full morning of entertainment and community connection in the heart of Sewickley.
This page will be updated regularly as details are finalized.
